JDIS Publication Fee

The Journal of Data and Information Science (JDIS) currently charges no publication fee for regular articles.

To ensure the journal’s long-term sustainability and continued development, JDIS will introduce Article Processing Charges (APCs) starting from January 1, 2026. Manuscripts submitted on or after this date will be subject to the new policy.

To facilitate a smooth transition, a discounted APC rate will be applied during the initial implementation period (2026–2027):

  · €800 for full-length articles (e.g., Original Research, Review Papers)
  · €300 for short articles (e.g., Perspectives, Research Notes)

Please note that manuscripts submitted before December 31, 2025, and subsequently accepted for publication in 2026, will remain exempt from APCs under the current policy.
