During the discounted period (2026–2027), the following APC rates apply:

• Full articles (e.g., Original Research, Review Articles):
  €1,300 (discounted rate: €800)
• Short articles (e.g., Perspectives, Research Notes):
  €500 (discounted rate: €300)

The applicable APC is determined by the article type upon acceptance for publication.
All editorial decisions are made independently of authors’ ability to pay APCs, and payment has no influence on the peer review process or editorial evaluation.
